ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) is investing in 300 multimodal curtainsider swap bodies in 2023. In doing so, the freight transport company is responding to the enormous demand from customers and expanding its equipment portfolio in order to further close the gap between road and rail and thus offer efficient end-to-end logistics solutions.
Full flexibility
With an external length of more than 13 metres (45 ft) and an internal height of more than 2.5 metres, the new swaps will soon be on the road throughout Europe. The swap bodies are universally loadable - that means they can be loaded and unloaded from all sides as well as from above. This sets them apart from a conventional container. Another advantage is that they can be used for all kinds of goods across all sectors (e.g. in beverage logistics, chemicals, automotive).
No siding track of your own? No problem!
