On 17 and 18 September the 9th International Partner Meeting of TSC Auto ID EMEA took place in Berlin, Germany. Around 90 partners accepted the invitation to the Kempinski Bristol Hotel, directly located at the Kurfürstendamm.
All of them were highly impressed by the manufacturer´s current developments and the varied program.
At the beginning, the focus was on 4“, 6” and 8” industrial thermal transfer printers. TTP-2410MT series as well as the two wide format printers TTP-2610MT and TTP-286MT are significant upgrades of TSC´s proven printer series offering a high-contrast and resistive 4.3” color Touch LCD panel with 6 buttons, an updated firmware and a new, high technology print head. As one of the latest innovations in its desktop segment, beside the updates of TX200 and DA200 series, TSC presented its brand new 4” TC series, based on the best features of bestselling TTP-245C series with some colorful improvements. There are two powerful models with 203 dpi print resolution and, additionally, two models with 300 dpi available to produce 4-inch-wide labels, tags or receipts at up to 6 ips.
As regards accessories, TSC actually showed its new WiFi modules, ribbons and external label rewinders at the event.
Then, as guest speakers, partners gave insights all around their pragmatic and economic application solutions supporting an efficient identification process, realised with TSC´s reliable and powerful thermal printers. CSP GmbH presented its field service management software and pay-by-label solution. Datalogic informed about “Joya”, a new POS system for self-shopping with a Queue Busting App, TSC´s portable printers Alpha-3R and Alpha-4L are needed for and certified. As one of the leading companies of medical labeling solutions Mediaform Informationssysteme GmbH showed the three new desktop models PRIMAS that are well suited for all applications in clinics, laboratories and medical practices, thanks to their disinfectant-proof high quality double-walled clamshell design.
“Especially the latest version of Seagull´s labeling software BarTender 2015 is very interesting for my own business and it was important for me to get to know its special features, as well as TSC´s updated firmware and Software Development Kit”, Sven Herzog from Mobo Druck summed up. All the technical presentations such as “easy solution for printing without a computer” (Autopost S.r.l.), “customer applications with TSC´s high-performance printer MX240 and its portable Alpha models” (IT-Scan), Brandselect´s “smart Android solution” and “maximizing opportunities via software, hardware and TSC” (TAAP Ltd. & Exertis UK Ltd.) were very well received by the participants. Clear case studies and mobile applications, presented by TSC itself, completed the informative part of the successful event. With an entertaining sightseeing program and formal dinner, TSC´s traditional award ceremony and an original brick from the Berlin Wall as exclusive presents for all guests the event rounded off buoyantly and cheerfully.
As in the previous years, the mix of participants was very international in Berlin too. The longest travel for sure was made by Ken Chou from TSC Auto ID Americas and KC Chang and Michelle Hu from TSC Taiwan.
