Kuehne + Nagel Russia introduces a new specialised low bed trailer, enhanced with self-developed technology for the horizontal handling of aircraft engine shipments. It is a dependable response to the maintenance challenges of the aerospace industry.
The innovative roller bed trailer considerably simplifies the horizontal handling of engine shipments between freighter aircraft and hangar and thereby saves costs for the airline customers. The roller bed trailer is unique on the Russian market and prompted by specific demands of several customers. It enables Kuehne + Nagel to handle large aircraft engines, with a payload of up to 17 tons without the need of a crane or engine mattresses. It thereby considerably increases handling efficiency and saves costs for airline customers. In addition, the customised trailer can also carry any oversized cargo with a maximum size of 3.6 by 6.5 by 3.1 metres for road transports.
