Hugh Edwards Warehouse Operations Development Director of TABLOGIX has spoken about innovations in logistics
Logistics is the efficient management of the flow of goods from point of origin to the point of consumption. Originally a military science it was the cornerstone of many of the great campaigns of history. It was Frederick the Great (or possibly Napoleon) who said ‘An army marches on it’s stomach’ and great generals from Julius Caesar to Lord Wellington based their success as much on the efficient supply of food and material as on their tactical brilliance.
