At Stuttgart's LogiMAT from May 31 to June 2 in Hall 5, Booth D35, the focus will be on the upgrade of the autonomously moving TRAPO Loading System (TLS series) – with new pioneering features. Even slimmer and with optimized sensor technology, the loading system is picked up by the TRAPO Loading Mover (TLM Series) and moved by rail or wheel drive. Thus, only one TLS can serve several loading bays in a highly efficient way.
Autonomous loading & unloading in 24/7 operation
At LogiMAT 2022, a production-ready system with components of the industry standard will be presented. Hardware and software come from a single source, and the customer has a single point of contact for all matters. Another plus: The TLS, which will go into series production, will also be presented electrically in a modular design. The compact, autonomous loading and unloading system eliminates the hectic danger zone between warehouse and truck. In combination with automated guided vehicles, it replaces the usual forklift transports between production, warehouse and loading zone.
Live expertise in the food sector
At the booth, the trade audience will see the TLS 3600 with its hub in partial function; in addition, exciting, cinematic insights into the ongoing production of the TLS development partner, JERMI Käsewerk GmbH, will be provided for the first time. More than 12,000 tons of processed and fresh cheese and around 28,000 tons of packaged cheese leave the plant there every year. A new hall was planned and automated together with the TRAPO team especially for logistical processes: with high-performance layer palletizers, warehouse logistics, a swarm of automated guided vehicles and autonomous loading with the TRAPO loading system.
"We thank our development partner, Managing Director Gerhard Jerg and the JERMI team for their innovative spirit and passionate support of the TLS implementation. They are pioneers for this future-oriented, completely autonomous solution," says Jonas Tenkamp, Development Engineer Research & Development at TRAPO, appreciating the cooperation - for him, the JERMI plant in Laubheim almost became a second home.
In exclusive TLS lounges at LogiMAT, the sales team will answer all detailed questions about function, requirements and potential. In order to provide the trade audience with far-reaching answers, "hubs" have been equipped with monitors where outstanding features are explained in personal discussions, both with the help of film sequences from practical experience and with the aid of animations.
